How long are ACs supposed to last?
All AC systems have different lifetimes and many different variables that change life expectancy. We have systems that are over 20 years old still going strong, and we also have systems that we’ve had to replace 10 years into its lifetime.
What temperature should I keep my AC at?
We recommend leaving your AC at whatever temperature is most comfortable for you. However, if you want to milk the life out of your AC system we would tell you 74 when you’re home, and 78 when you leave.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes, we do perform free estimates for any replacements in Palm Beach County.
What is the best brand of AC?
Typically, the AC brands that we find have the least repairs and the longest lifetimes are American Standards, and Trane units. Although there is no Best Unit, all Air Conditioners are different.
Are Nest Thermostats expensive to install?
Nest thermostats Installation is the same price as any thermostat installation. The bulk of the price would be from the thermostat price itself, not the installation.
